The Right Amount of White

I used to live in a chronic stress, fight or flight survival mode.  When my brain was at its worst, I thought I would pass out from panic breathing and panic attacks.  While I was struggling to cope with my undiagnosed post traumatic stress disorder symptoms, I remained in a survival mode that continued to release the stress hormone cortisol thus adding too much white matter to my brain.  It was a double edged sword. 

Not only did I already have PTSD symptoms, I was making them worse from the stress I was under, most of it self created due to my unawareness of the PTSD.  You see, I thought I was dealt a bad deck at birth, I had no idea that I was in survival due to all of my head traumas until I met Dr. Swingle.  He is the one who measured my brain and told me that I had the brain waves of a war veteran and that I had a disability.  That was the start of my training into sound medicine and the repair of my precious brain.  Survival mode is a horrible feeling and it took me years to condition my body and brain to be calm, relaxed and in a para-sympathetic state. 

Para-sympathetic is the mode that we rest, digest and heal ourselves in.  It is pleasure, peace, calmness and a state known to happen when both men and women orgasm.  Sympathetic mode is fight, flight overdrive survival.  It is a built in biological response to run from a tiger or bear in the forest.  In our modern day society, our sympathetic mode is kicked in both physically and mentally almost all of the time. 

When we keep pumping cortisol into our blood stream we can have an excessive amount of white matter build up like plaque in our brain.  It causes inflammatory type symptoms in the brain, putting pressure on specific brain regions that can effect anything from memory, to speech, to positive or negative thinking.  The damage can be massive, in fact stress is a killer.

The good news is that with Brain-Bliss light sound, we can clean away the build up of plaque or excessive white matter.  The right amount of white matter is part of our brain health.  At the same time, we can stimulate the grey matter and optimize the brain function while assisting an individual to relax into a para-sympathetic habit.  This allows a person a feeling of peace, calmness and contentment, allowing them to heal properly.  It may take some time to recondition your biological and habitual responses to stress, yet if longevity and health is your goal, you will make this a priority.
